Role & responsibilities

  1. Take initiative in the matter of EHS with an objective to upgrade the standards of Environmental management system, process and mining operational activities.
  2. Follow regulatory system and other policies and procedures related to Environmental management w.r.t. statutory provision made by SPCB, CPCB, CGWA and MoEF&CC.
  3. Preparation of IMS related documentations for Environmental system implementation, etc..
  4. Participation in operational meeting, Imparting training and other HSE Promotional Activities.
  5. Monitoring of storm water drain during monsoon, Waste water treatment & its water testing.
  6. Achieve Departmental Objectives and KPI as per the Environmental management requirement.
  7. Ensure timely completion of assignments as per site necessity.
  8. Identification of applicable statutory Act/rules applicable to the site time to time
  9. Developing systems for data collection and compilation from all functional heads.

    10.Timely Preparation of all returns and reports as per scheduled compliance management.

    11.NOC/consents, preparations and coordination of EIA studies, Environmental audit, Environmental statement, monthly returns, annual report under various Environmental legislation.

    12.Ensure compliance of all environmental conditions given in EC permission/license as accorded.

    13.Hazardous waste management, Bio-medical waste management and others as per EP Act. 14.Acquittance in Dump management, green belt development, Rain water harvest, Support in ETP/STP operations.

    15.Data collection and compilation for sustainability report/SDG.

    16.Computer knowledge in MS office, SAP and in other system software would be preferred.
  10. Coordination with local SPCB office and other statute bodies like CPCB, CGWA, MoEF&CC.
  11. Filling various applications for awards like CII, FICCI and others.
  12. Environmental monitoring (Ambient air quality & CAAQM, Water quality & Noise) at site.
  13. To support Head-Environment/Head-Mines on various environmental issues and to implement various project clearance (related to environment) matters
