Job Description

Responsibilities

Design teaching plans and excel at teaching your subject (60% time)

  • Design innovative Annual Plans, Unit Plans, and Lesson Plans - and contribute to the central Curriculum
  • Teach subjects of your expertise and achieve stellar outcomes.
  • Design and conduct regular assessments to monitor learning and analyze data to improve the school.
  • Define and lead the building of a positive and strong school culture with a focus on  learning and joy. 
  • Collaborate with parents of the students through regular meetings to ensure their active involvement.

Coordination of School and Organization Projects (30% time)

  • Coordinate and lead the highest impact projects in school, such as Hobby Clubs, Career Awareness, Annual Day, Sports Day, etc.
  • Serve as iTeach Subject Team Coordinators, Grade Team Coordinators, and iTeach Interviewers. 
  • Coordinate relationships with government officials, neighboring schools, and the iTeach Network Team.
  • Use these opportunities to strengthen your leadership skills and mentor new teachers.

Mentoring students (10% time)

  • Mentor nearly 15-20 students throughout the year.
  • Develop ways to ensure that these students have strong study habits, high attendance, and the drive to excel - share these plans with all teachers across the ecosystem.
Qualifications

Prerequisites

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree with strong academic and holistic performance
  • Required: Top quartile score on iTeach Teacher Aptitude Test
  • Required: Teaching experience in a secondary grade for 2+ years
  • Preferred: B Ed Degree
Additional Information

Salary: Salary is decided based on the candidate's education and work experience. Our usual compensation for this role is between 42500k and 50000k CTC per month. We also take pride in providing the best industry benefits, such as PF, Gratuity, Medical Insurance, etc.
