- Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and best practices for critical care.
- Communication: Foster effective communication with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other departments.
- Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergency situations and provide direct patient care when needed.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on ICU performance and patient outcomes to hospital administration.
