**Job Purpose**:
The Manifold Incharge is responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of medical gas pipeline systems (MGPS), including oxygen, nitrous oxide, compressed air, and vacuum systems. The role ensures uninterrupted gas supply to all hospital departments in compliance with safety and quality standards.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Operate and monitor medical gas manifold systems round the clock.
- Ensure continuous supply of medical gases to ICU, OT, wards, and other hospital areas.
- Perform routine checks, pressure monitoring, and switch-over operations.
- Maintain proper records of gas usage, cylinder movements, and daily logbooks.
- Coordinate with gas vendors for timely refilling/replacement of cylinders.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of manifold equipment and pipelines.
- Respond immediately to emergency situations such as leaks or pressure drops.
- Ensure compliance with NABH / statutory norms for MGPS.
- Report any abnormalities or equipment issues to the Facility Manager/Biomedical Engineer.
- Assist during audits, inspections, and safety drills.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant technical field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in medical gas manifold operations (preferred in a hospital setup).
- Knowledge of MGPS safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to handle high-pressure systems safely and efficiently.
- Good communication skills and basic record-keeping abilities.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts (24x7 operations).
**Work Conditions**:
- Hospital-based role, requires on-site presence.
- Shift duty, including nights, weekends, and emergencies.
- Physical fitness required for handling cylinders and routine checks.
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
