About the Role

We are seeking a
Credit Controller
to join our growing team in India. This role plays a key part in overseeing client credit allocations, managing payment cycles, and ensuring financial discipline across our operations. You will serve as the link between our Finance, Sales, and Key Account Management teams, while also engaging with clients to maintain strong relationships and drive timely settlements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and monitor client credit allocations in coordination with the finance team.
  • Track and supervise payment cycles of corporate clients to ensure timely settlements.
  • Investigate discrepancies or delays in payments, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions.
  • Liaise with Key Account Managers to align client payment terms with business requirements.
  • Coordinate with clients to follow up on outstanding payments, negotiate resolutions, and maintain positive relationships.
  • Prepare periodic reports on credit utilization, payment delays, and overall financial performance related to credits.
  • Support the finance team in implementing cost-control measures and ensuring policy adherence.
  • Act as a bridge between internal teams and external clients for all credit/payment-related matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in credit control, cost controlling, or financial analysis (preferably in a client-facing environment).
  • Strong understanding of payment cycles, credit terms, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and clients.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with financial software/ERP systems (such as SAP, Tally, Zoho).
  • Prior experience in Travel Industry / SaaS industry will be prioritized.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
