Compensation: ₹18,000 per month

Role Overview:

As an SDR Intern at InstaVid, you will play a key role in the early stages of the sales cycle—identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers. You'll focus primarily on cold calling and cold emailing to generate interest in our shoppable video platform. Working closely with our Sales and Marketing teams, you will learn essential prospecting techniques and gain hands-on experience in SaaS sales development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Outbound Prospecting: Conduct a high volume of daily cold calls and cold emails to target eCommerce brands, introducing InstaVid's value proposition.
  • Lead Qualification: Engage prospects to understand their current needs, challenges, and potential fit for our platform.
  • Pipeline Building: Research and identify new market segments and prospects, maintaining an organized pipeline in our CRM.
  • Data Management: Update and manage lead information accurately in the CRM, ensuring all activities, follow-ups, and notes are recorded.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to refine outreach strategies, share feedback on market insights, and ensure smooth handoffs of qualified leads.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about InstaVid's offerings, industry trends, and competitor activities to effectively communicate product differentiators.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor's program in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to confidently speak with business owners and decision-makers.
  • Persistence & Resilience: Comfort with making multiple cold calls daily, handling objections, and adapting to various prospect responses.
  • Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with the ability to manage leads, follow-ups, and schedules efficiently.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with basic CRM tools, email automation, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace is a plus.
  • Passion for Sales: Eagerness to learn the fundamentals of SaaS sales, develop prospecting strategies, and grow into a sales professional.
