Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Accounting, TDS, GST, and Statutory Compliance.
  • Expertise in Tally ERP / Prime and advanced MS Excel.
  • Good understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with auditors, consultants, and management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Finalization

  • Independently handle the entire accounting cycle up to finalization of accounts.
  • Ensure accurate preparation of Profit & Loss account, Balance Sheet, and Schedules.
  • Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts, debtors, creditors, intercompany accounts, and ledgers.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.

2. Taxation (Direct & Indirect)

  • Manage TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) compliance – calculation, deduction, return filing, and issuing Form 16/16A.
  • Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Return, Reconciliation Statement).
  • Handle input tax credit reconciliation, vendor reconciliations, and GST audits.
  • Support in income tax return preparation, advance tax, and assessments.

3. Audit & Compliance

  • Liaise with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax consultants.
  • Ensure timely statutory compliances – TDS, GST, PF, ESI, PT, ROC filings (as applicable).
  • Maintain all supporting documents, schedules, and records for audit purposes.
