Desired Skill

  • Proficient in CATIA V5/V6 and AVA methodology for

parametric sealing design.

geometry accurately.

Role & responsibilities

Create and manage 3D CAD models for BIW sealing components using CATIA

V5/V6.

  • Apply AVA and Powercopy tools to ensure scalable, parametric geometry across

platforms.

  • Collaborate with BIW, Closures, NVH, and Manufacturing teams to ensure

robust integration.

  • Conduct packaging studies, clash analysis, and tolerance reviews.
  • Support prototype builds, digital mock-ups, and production release activities.

CST 2017 JD Ver 2.0

  • Maintain accurate BOMs and release documentation in Teamcenter or equivalent

PLM systems.

  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure tooling feasibility and design-for-manufacture.

Good to Have Skills

  • Working knowledge of JIRA, Self-motivating and ability to
  • work effectively in a team environment.
  • • Experience creating reusable geometry templates for sealing
  • systems.
  • • Understanding of how sealing systems contribute to cabin
  • noise reduction.
  • • Involvement in prototype builds and production ramp-up
  • phases.
  • • Awareness of recyclable sealing materials and eco-friendly
  • adhesives.
  • • Familiarity with airflow, water ingress, and acoustic
  • simulation tools.
  • • Experience working with Tier 1 sealing suppliers on tooling
  • and feasibility reviews.
  • • Supporting manufacturing / launch issues
