We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Audit Assistant to join our finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will assist in conducting internal audits within the banking sector, prepare detailed audit reports, and coordinate with client teams to ensure smooth audit processes. This role offers excellent exposure to banking audit standards and is ideal for candidates looking to build a career in auditing and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal audits in compliance with banking standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collect, analyze, and review financial data and operations to identify discrepancies and risks.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports highlighting findings, observations, and actionable recommendations.
  • Coordinate and liaise with client teams to obtain necessary information and documentation to facilitate audits.
  • Support audit managers in planning and executing audit assignments efficiently.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on audit findings and track the implementation of recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate: B.Com in any specialization
  • Postgraduate: M.Com in any specialization or CA (in pursuing)

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of auditing principles and banking regulations.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with client teams.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under supervision.
