Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end purchasing of CCTV and surveillance products.
- Develop sourcing strategies for both project-based and stock requirements.
- Identify alternate suppliers to reduce risk and ensure supply continuity.
- Ensure all products meet technical specifications and quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Handle import logistics, including Incoterms and documentation (e.g., BLs, invoices, packing lists).
- Coordinate with technical and project teams to understand product requirements.
- Evaluate and compare product options across multiple brands and suppliers.
- Provide product input and support for project proposals and tenders.
- Monitor pricing trends and optimize procurement costs.
- Forecast purchasing budgets and report on savings and KPIs.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for timely deliveries and stock accuracy.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage bulk ordering to optimize costs.
- Maintain purchase records, contracts, and product certifications (e.g., CE, FCC, RoHS).
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Stay informed on new technologies and market trends in the CCTV industry.
- Participate in industry events, expos, and vendor presentations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in purchasing CCTV and surveillance products.
- Strong technical knowledge of CCTV systems, including analog, IP cameras, access control, video analytics, and storage solutions.
- Proven experience in vendor negotiation and international sourcing.
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written); knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP/Purchase Management systems.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
