Role Overview:
The Network Test Engineer will be responsible for testing and validating network products and solutions to ensure quality and performance standards are met. This role involves executing test plans, analyzing results, and documenting findings to aid in continuous product development and reliability improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and execute test plans for network products.
- Collaborate with product development teams to define test strategies and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Analyze and report testing results, identifying issues and troubleshooting as necessary.
- Maintain documentation related to testing processes and results.
- Participate in design reviews to provide input on testability and analysis processes.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in network testing and validation processes.
- Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, etc.) and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with automated testing tools.
- Understanding of firewall and security testing methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
