Key Responsibilities:

Compliance Responsibilities:

  • Ensure products comply with relevant electrical/electronic safety standards (e.g., IEC, UL, CE, RoHS, REACH).
  • Monitor and interpret changes in global regulatory requirements and advise internal teams.
  • Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps.
  • Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to integrate compliance into product development.

Certification Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit documentation for product certifications (e.g., BIS, CE, FCC).
  • Coordinate with certification agencies and regulatory bodies for approvals.
  • Maintain certification schedules and ensure timely renewals.
  • Support product testing and validation to meet certification criteria.

Quality Assurance & Testing:

  • Develop and implement quality control processes specific to electronic components and systems.
  • Perform root cause analysis on defects and initiate corrective actions.
  • Conduct inspections and testing to ensure compliance with standards like ISO 9001 and IPC.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records of compliance activities, certification status, and testing results.
  • Generate reports for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
  • Assist in updating company policies to reflect current compliance standards.

Training & Collaboration:

  • Train staff on compliance procedures and certification requirements.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, legal, and supply chain teams.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide guidance on compliance-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in product compliance or certification in the electronics industry.
  • Familiarity with international standards (e.g., IEC, ISO, UL, CE).
  • Experience with regulatory databases and certification portals.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and project management skills.

  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, FMEA, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Experience with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or compliance software.
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) is a plus.
