About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Professional to lead and execute infrastructure projects under the Jal Jeevan Mission, specifically focused on the design and development of Over Head Tanks (OHTs) for rural drinking water supply. The ideal candidate will bring strong civil construction expertise, a solid understanding of government schemes, and hands-on experience managing OHT construction from concept to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end execution of Over Head Tank (OHT) construction projects under the Jal Jeevan Mission.
  • Lead site planning, layout, foundation, structural construction, and commissioning of OHTs.
  • Ensure alignment with project specifications, quality standards, and government regulations.
  • Prepare and review project budgets, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Collaborate with local authorities, contractors, engineers, and vendors for smooth project execution.
  • Conduct quality checks, safety inspections, and resolve any construction-related issues at site.
  • Monitor progress, ensure timely completion, and report milestones to senior management and government stakeholders.
  • Maintain project documentation, including drawings, progress reports, and compliance records.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent; Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in civil construction with at least 3–5 years in water supply or Jal Jeevan Mission-related projects.
  • Proven track record in Over Head Tank construction (RCC/Steel) for rural water supply.
  • Strong knowledge of BIS codes, PHE norms, and government tendering processes.
  • Familiar with project management tools and site execution best practices.
  • Ability to lead field teams and handle multiple site activities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience working wit EPC firms on JJM.
  • Knowledge of SCADA and water automation systems is a plus.
  • Certification in project management (PMP/Primavera/MS Project) is an advantage.
