Role Summary:

The Store Manager is responsible for the overall operations, team performance, inventory control, customer experience, and profitability of the store. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and customer focus. The Store Manager ensures consistent adherence to operational standards, motivates and develops the team, drives business growth.

People Leadership & Team Management

· Plan duty rosters and orchestrates daily activities of store

· Ensure staff grooming, code of conduct, and discipline.

· Drive engagement through recognition, involvement in decision making and celebrating store wins. Drives team motivation.

· Supervises and mentors Supervisor/DM for leadership readiness.

· Recruit, train, orient, and onboard new store staff in coordination with HR.

· Conduct performance appraisals and implement disciplinary measures.

Customer Experience & Engagement

· Ensure seamless and delightful customer experience.

· Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure resolution.

· Lead customer connect programs and feedback mechanisms.

· Conduct in-store events to boost footfall.

· Leads Customer connect activities within the catchment of the store.

Store Operations & SOP Compliance

· Maintain high standards of hygiene and visual merchandising.

· Ensure SOPs are followed across store functions.

· Lead daily audits and enforce compliance.

· Conduct daily team briefings.

Inventory & Stock Control

· Ensure FEFO and timely replenishment.

· Control pilferage and shrinkage.

· Monitor GRN and product freshness.

· Manages daily F&V indents.

Financial Planning & P&L Ownership

· Achieve sales, margin, and shrinkage targets.

· Analyze KPI reports and initiate corrective actions.

· Prepare budgets and track expenditures.

· Optimizes store costs and actively involved in profitability.

Technical & Analytical Proficiency

· Use POS, Bizerba, HHT, and Excel for reporting.

· Troubleshoot minor tech issues.

External Stakeholder Management

· Coordinate with landlords, authorities, and community reps.

· Manage disruptions and emergencies while ensuring safety.

Key Skills & Competencies:

· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

· Customer-first mindset and problem-solving attitude

· Sound knowledge of retail SOPs and hygiene standards

· Financial acumen and P&L understanding

· High ownership, process discipline, and integrity

· Effective communication (verbal and written)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹28, ₹35,000.00 per month
