Role & responsibilities

Knowledge of building material and their storage. Procurement of Building materials after the proper cost analysis of the market. Quality analysis of the Materials to be purchased. Taking care of ensuring low transportation costs from the place of procurement. Knowledge of product life cycle and FIFO. Proper record keeping of materials freight in the warehouse and their proper stocking. Maintaining a smooth flow of materials and avoiding any damage due to weather or otherwise.

Preferred candidate profile: Diploma in Civil Engineering with work experience of at least 3 years from the same industry and background. Having handled large projects or worked with a construction company of repute or with a renowned builder group. Having Sound knowledge of computers and maintenance of inventory records.
