Deputy Manager

Key Result Areas:

1. Timely development / localization of new products.

2. Timely completion of FM / UL listing of relevant products.

3. Standardization and design improvements for cost optimization.

4. Implementation of products in Selection Software and their maintenance

Major Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for development of Products for General Industry, Chemical, Building Services & Waste Water Industry including Pumps and Pump Package.

2. Develop & Localize new products like End suction pumps, Split case Pumps, multistage pumps, horizontally or vertically mounted to address applications from above mentioned industries with help of other functions

3. Owner of Product development activity & must drive Project to ensure activities are completed on time, meeting all requirements, including cost, quality & performance targets to support project plans & project execution.

4. Serve as Primary product expert for assigned products Independently & Provide product management related support for all departments, mainly – TSS / Sales, Production, QM, Customer Service and Purchase

5. Prepare & evaluate product variable cost and highlight actions to maintain margins.

6. Knowledge of various industry standards like ISO 2858/5199, EN799, HIS, ASME, FM, UL etc.

7. For Selection portals & Digital platforms, provide support & technical inputs for introducing new products or maintaining existing ones.

8. Conduct technical trainings to Sales and have close Interaction with Vendors/Suppliers to resolve product specification queries.

9. Prepare & release product documents and literature during product release.

Functional Competencies:

1. Reasonably good Technical and commercial Competence

2. Centrifugal pump knowledge is must

3. Well versed with FM, UL, ISO, ANSI, EN, ASTM, DIN, HIS standards & specifications

4. Knowledge about product development and accessories like seals, motors, engines etc

5. Familiar with Product cost structure & tools like SAP & efficient in MS office.

6. Knowledge of various applications and market segment is preferable
