Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Senior Production Engineer
for our Client L&T on the payroll of Vinam Global Services to manage production operations, scheduling, and workforce in a multi-product manufacturing environment. The role involves ensuring quality, productivity, and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements, while continuously driving efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day
    production operations
    and supervise teams to meet customer demand and achieve 100% On-Time Fulfillment (OTF).
  • Plan shift goals, schedules, workflows, and resource allocation for both direct and indirect labor.
  • Manage multiple production cells, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Drive quality performance by ensuring
    First Pass Yield (FPY)
    targets are met.
  • Train and mentor new hires (operator level) and oversee material/logistics activities to avoid disruptions.
  • Monitor and improve
    cell performance, efficiency, and productivity
    .
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager to align with customer requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with
    standard work practices, material handling, storage, and documentation controls
    .
  • Apply
    root cause analysis and corrective actions
    to resolve failures and enhance yield.
  • Leverage
    SAP Production Module
    for scheduling, reporting, and operational tracking.
  • Utilize
    MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and time management tools
    for reporting and analysis.
