About The Opportunity
A technology consulting firm operating in Salesforce implementation and digital transformation for the Consumer Goods and Retail sector. We deliver field-sales automation, retail execution, and store-level merchandising solutions that help brands optimise store visits, improve distributor execution and drive in-store compliance.

We are hiring an experienced Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud Developer to join an on-site India delivery team focused on Retail Execution implementations and customisations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, build and deliver Consumer Goods Cloud (Retail Execution) solutions using Salesforce platform components and custom Apex/LWC where required.
  • Translate business requirements for store visit planning, task management, surveys, retail execution, and merchandising into technical designs and scalable implementations.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with external systems (ERP,BI,OMS) using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware or platform events to synchronise master data and field activity.
  • Create efficient data models, SOQL queries, batch/async processes and ensure robust data migrations/ETL for large field-activity datasets.
  • Deliver high-quality deployments using SFDX, CI/CD pipelines and enforce unit tests, code reviews and best-practice release processes.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, optimise performance, implement monitoring and mentor junior engineers on platform patterns and Retail Execution best practices.

Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have

  • 8+ years hands-on Salesforce development CG Cloud Retail with strong Apex and Lightning Web Components experience.
  • Direct exposure to Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud or Retail Execution implementations (store visits, call reports, merchandising).
  • Proven experience building integrations (REST/SOAP), writing optimized SOQL/SOSL and designing data models for field activity.
  • Experience with SFDX, source-driven development, CI/CD and automated test suites.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce security, sharing models, flows, and declarative automation plus unit testing and debugging skills.

Preferred

  • Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II or Sales/Service Cloud) and Consumer Goods Cloud familiarity.
  • Experience with middleware (Mulesoft, Dell Boomi) or event-driven integrations and performance tuning for high-volume datasets.
  • Exposure to mobile/offline solutions for field reps, analytics/reporting for retail KPIs and change management in large rollouts.
