Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on cosmetic ingredients, formulations, and market trends to support product innovation.
  • Develop and test new cosmetic formulations in categories such as skincare, haircare, personal care, and colour cosmetics.
  • Evaluate the stability, performance, and safety of formulations through lab trials.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source raw materials, actives, and functional ingredients.
  • Maintain accurate records of formulations, processes, and batch development.
  • Assist in the standardization and quality control of developed products.
  • Collaborate with the New Product Development (NPD) and Packaging teams for product improvement and launch readiness.
  • Conduct comparative product analysis against market benchmarks and competitor products.
  • Prepare technical documentation, formulation sheets, and reports for review and approval.
  • Ensure compliance with cosmetic safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to bring new product ideas and innovations.

Requirements

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Cosmetics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in cosmetic formulation or product development.
  • Freshers passionate about research, testing, and innovation are welcome.
  • Knowledge of cosmetic raw materials, formulations, and testing methods.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate data and detailed lab documentation.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.
