Role & responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients and visitors in a polite and professional manner.
- Handle patient registration, appointment scheduling, and test bookings.
- Manage incoming calls, provide information about services, and resolve queries.
- Maintain patient records in the Lab Information System (LIS).
- Coordinate with doctors, lab technicians, and radiology staff for patient flow.
- Manage billing, cash collection, receipts, and online transactions accurately.
- Ensure timely delivery/dispatch of reports via email, hard copy, or online portals.
- Handle patient complaints and escalate issues to management when required.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records and follow data privacy norms.
- Assist in daily administrative tasks and support overall front desk operations.
Preferred candidate profile
- Graduate (any discipline) preferred.
- 15 years of experience in front office/customer service; experience in healthcare/diagnostics will be an advantage.
- Freshers with good communication skills may also be considered.
