Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to enhance our online presence, engage with our audience, and promote our brand. This role requires a strong understanding of public relations and social media management, as well as the ability to create compelling content that resonates with our target demographic.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies across various platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Create engaging content that aligns with brand messaging and marketing goals.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and engagement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media campaigns with overall marketing efforts.
  • Analyse social media performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage online community interactions, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media management and public relations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in social media management or a similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with public relations principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
