Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Department: Science/Laboratory Services
Reporting To: Laboratory In-Charge / Scientist / Medical Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, label, and prepare samples (blood, urine, tissue, chemicals, etc.) for analysis.
- Conduct routine laboratory tests and procedures accurately.
- Operate and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Maintain proper documentation of test results and observations.
- Ensure proper storage and disposal of chemicals, samples, and biohazard waste.
- Prepare chemical solutions and reagents as per standard protocols.
- Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and place orders as needed.
- Follow laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Assist senior researchers, pathologists, or lab supervisors with specialized tests.
- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in reporting data and results.
Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
- Experience in laboratory testing and sample handling (preferred).
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment, techniques, and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Computer literacy for data entry and result documentation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹10, ₹16,000.00 per month
