Role Overview:

The Testing Supervisor/ Engineer (Protection System) is responsible for the testing of

Control and Relay panels used across various voltage levels for both domestic and inter-

national applications. The role involves managing different project phases, including un-

derstanding client requirements, analyzing project-specic documents, conguring vari-

ous numerical relays based on approved documentation, conducting system testing, and

coordinating customer inspections at the factory. Additionally, you will support the

Project Management, Engineering, and Commissioning teams to ensure smooth project

execution.

Job :

- ExperienceMinimum of 8-10 years in conguration, testing, and troubleshooting of

Control and Relay Panels, Generator Protection Panels, Synchronization Panels, and LCC

Panels.

- Team LeadershipCapability to lead a team of 4-5 Testing Engineers.

- Technical KnowledgeStrong understanding of various wiring schematic drawings and

power system protection philosophy, including their applications.

- Numerical IEDsHands-on experience conguring various types of Numerical IEDs (e.g.,

SIEMENS, ABB, GE, Schneider).

- Test EquipmentProcient with test kits such as OMICRON, DOBLE, and Megger.

- System IntegrationExperience integrating Numerical IEDs with Substation Automation

Systems.

- Client SpecicationsAbility to understand and interpret client requirements and

technical specications.

- Communication ProtocolsBasic knowledge of Substation Automation and

communication protocols, including SNMP, SNTP, Modbus, IEC , IEC 61850,

IEC , and IEC

- Digital SubstationsFamiliarity with basic concepts of digital substation techniques.

- Communication

Skills:- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Software ProciencyCompetent in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
