Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Accountant with a solid understanding of TDS, GST, and day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, well-versed in accounting software, and capable of maintaining accurate financial records. This role offers a great opportunity to work in a structured trading environment within the steel and hardware market segment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) and handle related documentation.
  • Compute, deduct, and file TDS returns accurately and on time.
  • Maintain daily accounting entries, purchase/sales registers, and bank reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and monthly reports.
  • Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and internal departments for accounting-related queries.
  • Handle invoice generation, payment follow-ups, and expense entries.
  • Maintain and organize accounting records systematically for easy access and audit readiness.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime and basic MS Excel.
  • Good understanding of GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles.
  • Attention to detail with strong analytical and numerical ability.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in accounting (experience in GST and TDS handling is mandatory).
  • Candidates from the trading or steel/Loha sector will be preferred.

Working Hours

10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)

Compensation

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹22,000 per month (based on experience and skills)
