Job Description : Group Product Manager

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership : Define and execute the product strategy and requirements for multiple feature offerings, overseeing a team of product managers.
  • Platform Integration : Play a crucial role in the applications integration platform, guiding the team to create cohesive and innovative solutions.
  • Roadmap Development : Collaborate with engineering and operational stakeholders to develop roadmap features and define new capabilities with precise business requirements.
  • Team Leadership : Motivate and manage the product management team, ensuring alignment with scope, development, and engineering efforts for our SaaS offerings.
  • Market Research : Conduct and evaluate market research, gather feedback from customers, sales teams, and marketing to shape market strategies and define relevant product feature sets, user stories, and customer outcomes.
  • Customer Focus : Maintain a customer-centric mindset, ensuring the team delivers exceptional value and solutions.
  • Technical Analysis : Provide expertise in analyzing complex product technical solutions, guiding the team in making informed decisions.
  • Planning and Execution : Lead planning meetings with engineering teams, providing direction for product developments and ensuring alignment with the product vision.
  • Stakeholder Communication : Articulate the vision and goals of new products to internal stakeholders, fostering transparency and buy-in.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with Application and Platform teams, communicating product strategy and functionality to ensure seamless integration.
  • Success Metrics : Define, implement, and analyze success metrics, ensuring the team meets and exceeds performance goals.
  • Product Lifecycle Management : Drive the design, development, and marketing of products from conception to distribution, ensuring successful product releases.
  • Expert Analysis : Gather and analyse information to define product specifications and review design specifications, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Domain Expertise : Demonstrate full competency in your area of expertise, guiding the team with your deep knowledge and experience.

Requirements

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience : Proven experience as a product manager for customer-facing products, with a minimum of 5+ years in product management.
  • Attention to Detail : Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Strategic and Tactical Thinking : Ability to think both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Background : Experience in software engineering and deep technical knowledge to provide excellent technical solutions.
  • Leadership Skills : Demonstrated maturity and leadership in product management, with a proven track record of guiding and mentoring teams.
