About Our Category Management Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a skilled Category Management professional. You will be responsible for overseeing the management of product groups, focusing on pricing and promotion strategies to maximize consumer appeal.

Working closely with vendors and product range management teams will drive sales and profitability. Key responsibilities include proactively managing vendor relationships, optimizing pricing and inventory levels, and maximizing sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage vendor relationships, optimize pricing, inventory levels, and sale optimization for assigned product groups or brands.
  • Scale these brands on the platform by continuously working across selection, catalogue, marketing initiatives, and other areas.
  • Contribute to commercial closures to achieve a profitable view of the business and category performance.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with vendors through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Liaise with pricing and marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities for product categories.
  • Manage inventory levels to maximize sales, procure additional stock when necessary, and efficiently dispose of excess or unwanted inventory.
