Key Responsibilities :
- Participate in review and analyze the requirements to understand test objectives, provide input on the testability of requirements and highlight any requirement gaps
- Define and prepare test scope, automated test scenarios and help to do estimation for the project scope
- Identify and escalate issue/risk to upper manager/lead
- Review requirements, all testing artifacts and test automation to ensure good quality and automation coverage
- Resolve software quality control problems/concerns with the team.
- Produce and maintain test scopes and checklists, required in the project for Quality assurance.
- Perform a hands-on testing and report defects with reproducible steps, define severity and priority for each defect, participate in agile ceremonies.
- Automate designed test scenarios. Execute, investigate and report test automation regression defects. Refactor and fix existing automation test scenarios.
- Discuss with the client raised issues to facilitate their solving time.
- Check and verify the testing activities for subordinates testers or test engineers.
- Promote Teamwork to increase productivity and cooperation between teams and with other Testers
Requirements :
- Degree in relevant technology-based subject from a recognized university
- Industry Experience : Around 5 years of QA/Testing experience with around 1year of Java experience.
- Technical Skills : Java experience is needed for test automation. Good understanding of SQL. Testing experience is a must.
- Experience in functional, system, and system integration testing of web-based applications.
- Testing activities/tools on automation, performance, change & release, JIRA.
- Experience in working with agile/scrum methodology and/or working experience in a multicultural environment is a plus.
- Experience with automation test design and automation tests patterns.
- Ideally coming from Banking/Financial background; Wealth Management is an advantage
