InvestCloud - Senior Software Engineer - Angular UI

Role Summary :

Angular UI developer involved and driving the modernization of the market leading wealth management trading and portfolio management platform. You will help us take the product to the next level and be involved in new product development.

What does a great Angular UI Developer do ?

- Works closely with front and back-end developers, product management and design to build user interfaces with simplicity and visual appeal.

- Has a passion for front-end development to ensure the end result meets client demands while maintaining integrity of InvestCloud philosophy. Is curious and asks questions to understand user's preferences, motivations, needs and pain points in order to deliver best in class product

- Enjoys solving problems individually and as part of a team. Should know not just the "what" but also the "why" of technologies and frameworks.

- Responsible for coding the design layout to meet user specifications.

- You are all about test driven development, testing newly coded design across the platforms and browsers and validate it is fully functional and meets client demands

- Proactively track and analyze elements and variables to identify ways to improve the product

Basic Qualifications for Consideration :

- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a relevant field.

years developing software in Angular 2 or later (we're using Angular 15). Extensive knowledge of TypeScript.

- Must have computer science skills : Analysis of Algorithms (time complexity and space complexity analysis), Data Structures, Object Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, and Problem-Solving skills.

- Demonstrable skill at writing RxJs pipelines. You should be familiar with numerous operators and how they can be used to solve real-world problems.

- Extremely comfortable writing and maintaining automated unit tests in Jasmine.

- Continuous Integration practices should be second nature to you.

- Basic familiarity with Git

- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English

- Experience debugging JavaScript and CSS in the browser

- Ability to adhere to written coding standards and best practices.

- Ability to give and receive code reviews.

- Understanding of HTML and CSS fundamentals

- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs

- Proven ability to be curious and delve into product to create an effective user experience

Preferred Qualifications for Consideration :

years of working with Git

or more years of experience with Bootstrap/Material/Kendo or similar frameworks.

- Experience with Jira and Azure DevOps

- Strong knowledge of Clean Code.

- Experience working with Reactive Forms.

- Experience with NgRx.

- Experience with automated E2E testing.

- Experience with SASS or LESS

- Experience with Postman or equivalent tool

- Experience mentoring less-senior developers.

- Experience with WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
