Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive System Administrator to manage, maintain, and secure our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Linux and Windows server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and network firewalls. You will be responsible for ensuring system availability, performance, and security across our organization and client-facing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) and Windows Server environments
  • Configure and maintain Windows Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO policies
  • Monitor system health and troubleshoot OS-level issues (performance, patching, logs)
  • Implement and maintain firewalls, NAT, VPNs, and basic network security rules
  • Handle user provisioning, permission management, and access controls
  • Apply system hardening and patch management practices
  • Manage server and endpoint backups and disaster recovery processes
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, etc.)
  • Document procedures, system changes, and infrastructure layout

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in system administration
  • Strong knowledge of Linux command-line and server configurations
  • Expertise in Windows Servers and Active Directory
  • Proficiency in Group Policy Management (GPO)
  • Experience with firewall administration (e.g., FortiGate, pfSense, Cisco ASA, etc.)
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills
  • Good understanding of ITIL, PCIDSS, NIST, or ISO 27001 principles is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: RHCE, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security are Added Advantage
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
