Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and purchasing operations for raw materials (RM), packing materials (PM), and MRO items. The ideal candidate should possess strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical domain and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and procure RM, PM, and MRO materials as per production requirements.
  • Drive cost negotiation, contract management, and supplier performance evaluation.
  • Identify and develop reliable vendors, conduct audits, and ensure quality & compliance.
  • Manage the complete PR–PO cycle and ensure timely procurement within approved budgets.
  • Collaborate with QA/QC, Stores, and Production teams for delivery and quality coordination.
  • Maintain and update procurement records in ERP systems (SAP/Tally/Zoho).
  • Prepare and present data-driven MIS reports for management review.
  • Monitor market trends, material cost fluctuations, and supplier performance.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in procurement within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills with a focus on cost optimization.
  • Working knowledge of ERP tools (SAP / Tally / Zoho).
  • Understanding of pharma procurement, compliance, and documentation.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and vendor relationship management abilities.
