About the Role:

We are looking for a talented Java Developer with experience in AS2 protocol and secure EDI file exchange, to join our in-house team in Lucknow.

You'll work on building, deploying, and maintaining AS2-based communication services using Java and containerized environments like Docker.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain AS2-based integrations using Java.
  • Configure and manage digital certificates, encryption, and signing for secure communication.
  • Implement and monitor message exchange (MDNs, receipts, retries, logging).
  • Build REST APIs and backend components for partner onboarding and file exchange.
  • Deploy and maintain AS2 services within Docker containers.
  • Troubleshoot AS2 connectivity, SSL/TLS, and application issues.
  • Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams for smooth deployment and integration.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of Core Java (Java 8 or higher)

Hands-on experience with AS2 protocol (OpenAS2 or Mendelson preferred)

Familiarity with Spring Boot and RESTful API development

Understanding of SSL/TLS, keystore/truststore, and digital certificates

Experience working with Docker — container creation, configuration, and image management

Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Linux environments

Familiarity with file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTP)

Database knowledge: MySQL / PostgreSQL

Version control with Git

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to EDI standards (X12)
  • Experience with B2B / EDI Integration using OpenAS2
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture
  • Familiarity with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
  • Basic cloud deployment experience (AWS / Azure / GCP)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • 2–3 years of professional experience in Java backend development
  • Minimum 6 months hands-on work in AS2 / file-based integration projects
