L2 System Engineer

Key Responsibilities of Resident Engineer:
- Maintain
VMware vSphere/ESXi environments
including vCenter, clusters, resource management, and VM provisioning. - Manage
Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI)
including Prism management, VM creations as per the requirements. - support
Rubrik backup and recovery solutions
– including backup policies, restores and jobs creations. - Manage and maintain
Active Directory (AD)
including user/group administration, GPO management, domain controllers, and authentication services. - Administer and support
Microsoft 365
services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and security/compliance policies. - Ensure system performance, reliability, and availability by monitoring and proactively resolving issues.
- Provide L2 support for virtualization and HCI-related incidents and service requests.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and SOPs.
- Monitoring Servers and storages, alerts, warning and errors regularly.
- Should take care of virtual machines operating system patches up to date and accessible.
