Hiring Shipping Line Coordinator For Ranjangaon location(off roll)

Role & responsibilities

Bill of Lading (BL) Filing:

• Prepare and verify draft BLs based on shipping and invoice documents.
• Coordinate with internal team for dispatch details.
• Ensure BL accuracy (container details, cargo description, terms, consignee details, etc.).
• Manage timelines for surrender or release of BLs as per buyer requirements.

Shipping Instructions (SI):

• Prepare accurate shipping instructions based on the sales contract, LC (if applicable), and buyer requirements.
• Submit SI to shipping lines or forwarders within the prescribed cut-off time.
• Ensure alignment between SI, invoice, packing list, and other export documents.

Coordination with Shipping Lines:

• Liaise with shipping lines and freight forwarders for booking, vessel schedules, and container availability.
• Monitor vessel ETD/ETA and ensure timely dispatch of cargo.
• Resolve any discrepancies related to booking, documentation, or shipment delays.

Documentation and Compliance:

• Ensure all documents comply with export regulations and buyer requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Accounts, Warehouse) for documentation support.
• Maintain documentation records for audits and future reference.

Communication & Reporting:

• Provide regular shipment updates to customers and internal teams, Ship on board details.
• Track shipping milestones and update relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in resolving any post-shipment documentation queries.
• Preparing MIS/DSR/Vessel wise container dispatch report
• Proficiency with computers and MS Office ( Word, Excel ).

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of export documentation and INCOTERMS.
• Experience in working with major shipping lines and freight forwarders.
• Familiarity with filing SI via online portals (e.g., INTTRA, carrier-specific platforms).
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
