About Us:
Roar Picture Company is a dynamic film production company based in Mumbai, looking for inhouse video editor. Editors will be responsible for creating captivating and high-quality content for Instagram, YouTube, and other social media platforms. Occasionally they might be involved in film editing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Editing of video content for YouTube, social media platforms, and other digital channels.
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and requirements.
- Help with selecting and assembling footage, applying transitions, effects, and soundtracks.
- Ensure videos are engaging, on-brand, and optimized for different platforms.
- Organize and manage video files efficiently.
Requirements:
- Good hands-on experience in video editing.
- Familiarity with video editing software Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve
- Understanding of video formats and resolutions for different platforms, strong vision for reels/shorts.
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Occasionally, shooting of content (BTS, Interviews etc)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
- Familiarity with SEO and video optimization strategies for YouTube.
- Awareness of current social media trends and best practices.
- Ability to automate processes via AI

We are a distinguished film production boutique from India founded by Actor Rohit Arora, driven by a passion for crafting cutting-edge fictional cinema. Our journey commenced with the premiere of our debut feature film, "The Pickup Artist" at the 52nd Worldfest Houston in Texas. The film left an indelible mark by clinching 2 Remi Awards and securing a Best-supporting Actress nomination.
This marked the inception of an illustrious film festival voyage, with screenings gracing diverse world locales such as the Netherlands, Colombia, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Moscow, New York, and more.
On the domestic front, "The Pickup Artist" made history by being the first movie to grace Indian cinemas post-lockdown, captivating audiences from its release on 16 October 2020. It boasted a remarkable 6-week-long theatrical run, boasting countless sold-out shows, a testament to its resilience even amid the challenges posed by COVID. In 2021, the film found a new audience on Amazon Prime ), where it continues to thrive, garnering enthusiastic viewership.
Our second feature film "Mcguffin" released in Cinemas in August, 2025.
