Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and develop digital, video-based, and blended learning solutions that support quality, regulatory, and technical training objectives.
- Create animated and live-action video content, including scenario-based learning, simulations, and microlearning videos.
- Apply adult learning principles and instructional design models to create engaging, outcome-driven learning experiences.
- Developing specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field. Has awareness of functional developments in own area.
- Contributes towards organization's learning strategy and ensures delivery within area of responsibility.
- Partners with internal subject matter experts to interpret complex and/or technical concepts and processes.
- Communicates appropriate messaging in training courses at the level of the training audience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Influences others at multiple levels to ensure timely delivery of high-quality courses.
- Applies learning standards defined by GE HealthCare to learning solutions and evaluates training completion effectiveness.
- May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
- Explains information and acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience, developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field.
- Proposes different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems.
- Able to prioritize information for data analysis. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking.
Required Qualifications
- This role requires 8 plus years of advanced experience in Quality & Training Design and Delivery using adult learning principles, methods, theories, and techniques for global audiences.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
Desired Characteristics
- Experience and familiarity with Quality and Regulatory driven environments
- Experience delivering effective learning solutions (classroom, eLearning, virtual)
- Demonstrated Instructional Design (ADDIE methodology) and Articulate Storyline experience and/or other learning technologies
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as SuccessFactors, Cornerstone, EdCast, SumTotal or Saba Cloud.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint, PowerPoint
