MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Design Development: Develop architectural designs for construction projects, considering factors such as aesthetics, functionality, safety, and budget constraints.

  2. Project Planning: Collaborate with clients, Construction team and stakeholders to determine project requirements, objectives, and constraints. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

  3. Construction Oversight: Oversee all phases of construction projects, from site preparation to project completion. Ensure that construction activities comply with design specifications, building codes, and regulatory requirements.

  4. Drawing Record Management: Maintain a drawing record register with a revision tracker for all projects, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking of revisions. GOOGLE Tracker

  5. Meeting Coordination: Conduct meetings with design consultants and circulate Minutes of Meetings (MOM) as required to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

  6. Finishing Matrix Development: Develop a finishing matrix and monitor GFC (Good for Construction) drawings in coordination with the finishing and site teams to ensure adherence to project requirements.

  7. Checklist Development: Develop finishing checklists and monitor them with the finishing department for typical units and common areas.

  8. Asset Checklist Development: Develop an asset checklist and monitor its installation in the building to ensure quality and completeness.

  9. Quality Inspection: Conduct monthly inspections of project work quality, prepare reports, and share them with the project team for rectification as necessary.

  10. Material Finalization: Coordinate with directors and GM construction regarding the finalization of materials to be used in projects.

  11. Drawing Coordination: Coordinate with the site engineering team to close gaps in drawing availability and modifications with respect to construction requirements.

  12. Design Review: Lead design review exercises from conceptual proposal to finalization of design, ensuring alignment with project objectives and requirements.

Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other architectural design software.
