About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and technically adept Technical Product Owner (TPO) to join our expanding Product Management team. This is a critical role in the agile delivery of complex, enterprise-grade compliance solutions.

You will act as the bridge between business, design, and engineering, owning the product backlog and driving the delivery of features that align with business outcomes and user needs. You will be involved in everything from requirements gathering and story writing to solution design and customer documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Backlog Ownership: Manage the product backlog for one or more functional areas, ensuring prioritization aligns with strategic goals.
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to define and document both functional and non-functional requirements.
• User Story Grooming: Participate in grooming sessions and support task breakdowns and estimations with engineering.
• User Story Development: Translate requirements into detailed user stories with clear, testable acceptance criteria suitable for 2-week sprint delivery.
• Design Validation: Work closely with the Design team to ensure stories meet user expectations and support intuitive user experiences.
• Technical Collaboration: Work with Architects and Engineering to design the proposed Solution.
• Solution Prototyping: Contribute to the ideation and prototyping of new features and enhancements.
• Release Communication: Own the creation of release notes and other external documentation for customer-facing product updates.
• Cross-Functional Liaison: Serve as the primary interface between Product Management, Engineering, and Design to drive alignment and execution.

Essential Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in Product Management or Product Owner roles in large global, multinational SaaS or enterprise environments.
• Proven record of Technical Solution Designing. Partner closely with Architects, Engineering Leads, and cross-functional technical teams to design, validate, and refine scalable product solutions. Ensure that proposed architecture aligns with product vision, business requirements, and technical feasibility.
• Proactively engage in technical discussions to bridge the gap between business needs and engineering implementation, provide input on trade-offs, and contribute to shaping solution blueprints. Act as a trusted liaison who can challenge assumptions constructively while keeping the long-term scalability, performance, and maintainability of the platform in focus.
• Proven success delivering products built on Java, data-driven architectures, and APIs.
• Experience delivering or supporting AI/ML-powered features, such as intelligent alerts, predictive analytics, or NLP-driven workflows.
• Strong understanding of AI-enhanced user experiences, and ability to write product requirements that align AI capabilities with business value.
• Demonstrated success working in product-driven SaaS environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across technical and business audiences.
• Proficient in writing clear, testable user stories, functional and non-functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Skilled in wireframing, data modeling (ERDs), SQL, and API integration.
• Strong problem-solving ability with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
• Effective in both independent work and cross-functional collaboration within fast-paced, agile environments.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies and project management practices.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools for backlog and documentation management.
• Strong analytical skills for feature validation, requirement refinement, and product performance assessment.
• Deep client insight and ability to align user needs with business goals.
• Experienced in collaborating with Architects/Tech Leads to design scalable solutions and challenge assumptions constructively.
• Skilled in negotiating trade-offs between scope, resources, and impact to align with product roadmaps.
• Contributes to strategic planning and long-term roadmap development.
• Adaptable and comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments.
• Able to operate in globally distributed teams across time zones and cultural contexts.
• UX sensibility and ability to partner with designers to shape intuitive user journeys and product experiences.
• Disciplined in backlog grooming, release planning, and sprint execution with agile teams.
• Awareness of change management practices and ability to support internal enablement and customer adoption.

Preferred Qualifications

• Domain knowledge in Capital Markets, Trade Surveillance, Anti-Money Laundering, or Data Analytics tools.
• Familiarity with AI product lifecycle, including model validation, user feedback loops, and ethical implications.
• Exposure to tools like OpenAI, Azure ML or similar platforms from a product integration perspective.
• Exposure to delivering solutions using LLMs, ML, Prompt Engineering, MCP Servers, RPA tools.
• Demonstrated leadership in innovative initiatives, such as Generative AI prototypes, automation pilots, or internal product accelerators.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and microservices in SaaS ecosystems.
• Experience using product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA4) for KPI tracking and iteration planning.
• Knowledge of privacy and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2) and their implications on product decisions.
• Familiarity with BDD practices, including Gherkin-style acceptance criteria.
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps environments and their influence on delivery pipelines.
• Comfortable managing vendor integrations, particularly in regulated domains.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification is a plus.
