Job Description: PLC & Motion Control Engineer (2 Years Experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and commission automation solutions involving
    PLC, HMI, Servo drives, and motion control systems
    .
  • Programming, troubleshooting, and optimization of PLC logic.
  • Configure, tune, and maintain servo drives and motion controllers for precise positioning and synchronization applications.
  • Integrate automation systems with peripheral devices such as sensors, actuators, VFDs, and safety controllers.
  • Support installation, commissioning, and FAT/SAT at customer sites.
  • Prepare technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.
  • Provide after-sales technical support and resolve customer issues on-site or remotely.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming (ladder logic, function block, structured text).
  • Hands-on experience with servo drive configuration, tuning, and motion control applications.
  • Good understanding of industrial communication protocols (EtherCAT, Modbus, Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
  • Familiarity with HMI/SCADA development and integration.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control wiring diagrams.
  • Troubleshooting skills for automation hardware and software issues.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and electrical panel wiring practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in PLC, Servo Drive, and Motion Control-based projects.
  • Experience in industries like packaging, pharma, food & beverage, automotive, or special purpose machines is preferred.
