This is with reference to an excellent opportunity for the position of Payroll and Accounts Payable Officer with MNC at Pune (Balewadi) office.

Role & responsibilities

Position Details:

Position: Payroll and Accounts Payable Office

Location: Balewadi, Pune (Work From Office)

Experience Required: 5+ years

Role Purpose:Taking care of Payroll and Accounts Payable tasks.

Key Responsibilities: The Payroll and Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for all aspects of financial management, including payroll, employee travel reimbursements, revenue accounting, MIS and Audits.

Major responsibilities:

Payroll and Reimbursements


• Work in collaboration with internal teams and liaise with external payroll vendor with input data validation, pay register finalisation, and booking accounting entries


• Keep track of travel reimbursements as per Budget and approvals, and process the same


• Resolve employee queries on pay and taxation


• Headcount reconciliation and prepare variance report


• Track and ensure timely statutory payouts for benefits


• Prepare and upload payroll on Bank


• Tracking and Booking payroll bonus Provisions


• Review of ME reports, AR & AP tracker, Exchange gain/loss workings


• Review and maintain intact data for appraisals, joiners, leavers, etc.

Expense Accounting and Accounts Payable:


• Maintain Vendor agreement POs and accounting for expenses


• TDS reconciliation and filing quarterly


• Vendor ledger reconciliation and balance confirmations


• Create and maintain up to date ageing reports


• Maintaining up to date receivable data in foreign and local currency, with updated forex working for realised and unrealised.

Compliance & General Accounting:


• Work directly with Finance Director, for reporting and compliance requirements


• Ensure appropriate financial control environment in accordance with group policies and procedures.


• Ensure zero non-compliance.


• Well versed with GST and Tax compliances


• Plan and Assist in Effective ERP implementation

Required Skills:

Hands-on experience in Payroll Accounting

Working knowledge of labour law compliances

Experience in audits & internal controls

Thorough understanding of technical accounting issues

Proficient in English both written and spoken skills

Expert in MS Excel & Tally ERP (MUST)

Preferred:

Experience in IT industry

Ability to work independently
