Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chef de Partie (CDP) at Suzie's in North Goa. The individual will play an integral part in food preparation and cooking, specifically focusing on delivering high standards of food quality and creativity. Responsibilities include assisting in menu planning, maintaining kitchen operations, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards, and collaborating with other team members to produce fusion dishes that highlight local ingredients. The CDP will also manage a specific section of the kitchen, provide training to junior staff, and help innovate dishes aligned with the restaurant's seasonal themes.

Qualifications

  • Strong culinary skills in food preparation, cooking, and menu planning
  • Expertise in fusion cuisines and utilizing seasonal, locally sourced ingredients
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and proper handling of kitchen equipment
  • Leadership experience in managing kitchen sections and providing guidance to junior chefs
  • Creativity and passion for crafting innovative dishes and pairing flavors
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Formal culinary training or relevant certifications are a plus
  • Previous experience working in fine dining or premium restaurants is an asset
