Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily construction activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with GHB standards, safety norms, and relevant construction codes.
  • Coordinate with contractors, laborers, and vendors for smooth project execution.
  • Prepare daily site reports, measurement books, and progress updates.
  • Verify bills submitted by contractors as per actual work done.
  • Report project progress, challenges, and resource requirements to the Executive Engineer or Project Manager.
  • Assist in the inspection and approval process for ongoing and completed works.
  • Manage the workforce efficiently and maintain site discipline.
  • Support environmental and safety compliance on the construction site.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.

  • Experience:

  • Minimum 58 years of experience in civil construction (preferably in government or housing projects).

  • Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also be considered for junior positions.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and construction project management tools.

  • Understanding of structural drawings, BOQs, and site-level problem-solving.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.

  • Time management and leadership qualities.
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
