Job Title: Store Keeper

Location: Steep House

Reports To: Restaurant Manager / Head Chef

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: As per Industry Standards

Key Responsibilities:

· Receive and verify deliveries of food, beverages, and other restaurant supplies.

· Ensure all items are properly stored in accordance with food safety standards.

· Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory systems regularly.

· Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the kitchen or management team for reordering supplies when necessary.

· Organize and maintain the storage areas (dry storage, freezer, refrigerator) to ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO: First In, First Out).

· Ensure that all items are stored in a clean, safe, and hygienic environment.

· Check product expiry dates regularly and ensure products are used before they expire.

· Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile them with the inventory management system.

· Report on stock levels, shortages, and discrepancies to management.

· Prepare reports for the restaurant manager regarding stock usage, waste, and potential stock outs.

· Monitor and manage stock levels to minimize food waste and overstocking.

· Dispose of expired or damaged goods following proper food safety and waste management guidelines.

· Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure the correct items are available for meal prep.

· Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues with orders.

· Ensure all stored items comply with health and safety regulations.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization in the storage areas.

· Adhere to all food safety standards and guidelines, including proper labeling and temperature control for perishables.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Proven experience as a Store Keeper or similar role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.

· Minimum Graduate, having knowledge of inventory management and food safety standards.

· Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory management software, etc.).
