Job Title: WordPress, PHP & Laravel Developer

Overview

We are looking for a talented WordPress, PHP, and Laravel Developer to become an integral part of our growing development team. The right candidate will have proven experience in building and maintaining dynamic websites, scalable web applications, and custom solutions. You will collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality, secure, and performance-driven projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, custom themes, and plugins.
  • Build and optimise scalable web applications using PHP and Laravel.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, services, and payment gateways.
  • Ensure websites are optimised for speed, performance, and security.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain databases and core product functionality.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliverables.
  • Keep up with emerging technologies, frameworks, and coding best practices.

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress custom themes, plugins, hooks, and filters.
  • Proficiency in the Laravel framework and MVC architecture.
  • Solid understanding of OOP principles and modern coding standards.
  • Experience with REST APIs, AJAX, and JSON.
  • Knowledge of Git/version control systems.
  • Familiarity with web security practices and performance optimisation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in WordPress, PHP, and Laravel/CodeIgniter development.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with other PHP frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, etc.).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, DigitalOcean, or Google Cloud.
  • Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks (React, , or Angular).

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
