Role & responsibilities

In discharge of your duties, you are expected to:

  • Reviewing, drafting, vetting, negotiating, and handling independently (or with minimal guidance) domestic/international business contracts in the manufacturing sector including for E-mobility business. Mapping risks and liabilities for appropriate contracts and contract management.
  • Conducting Legal Research & Analysis and Provide requested Legal Opinion in relation to various commercial laws, company laws etc.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on business operations.

  • Assist your reporting manager in managing legal aspects of M&A transactions including due diligence, structuring, documentation, and post-deal integration.

  • LL.B. (preferably with 5 years law course post 10+2) Or LLM - from reputed law schools in India.

  • Company Secretary qualification is preferable or having prior experience working company law matters.

Min. 4 to 12 years of post-qualification experience in handling legal matters including contract review & analysis, company law related matters as an in-housel lawyer or with at least Tier 2 law firm

  • Preferable sector: Manufacturing setup or EV

Preferred candidate profile

Self-motivated, sound oral and written communication, ability to manage workloads involving tasks of varying priority and complexity.

You will perform functions of a managerial nature, basis the requirement of the assignment. You are expected to have ability to recognize when to escalate and when to take independent decisions/exercise discretion while working on
