Job Overview:

  • The ML Engineer will be responsible for integrating machine learning (ML) capabilities into the Data Quality & Data Management Solution, enabling advanced features such as anomaly detection, predictive cleansing, and data quality automation.
  • The role requires a strong foundation in ML model development, data engineering, and cloud-based deployment with an emphasis on scalability, accuracy, and ethical AI compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop ML-based algorithms for anomaly detection, predictive cleansing, and data quality enhancement.
  • Build and deploy ML pipelines for data validation, deduplication, and intelligent data correction.
  • Collaborate with data architects, data engineers, and data quality teams to integrate ML components into the overall solution.
  • Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to detect patterns, inconsistencies, and outliers in large datasets.
  • Implement automation for data quality improvement and predictive analytics within structured and unstructured data environments.
  • Optimize ML models for high performance, scalability, and resource efficiency in cloud and on-premise setups.
  • Work with government/PSU datasets ensuring data security, ethical AI usage, and compliance with privacy standards.
  • Conduct PoC (Proof of Concept) demonstrations and contribute to project documentation, reports, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to align ML components with data governance, ETL, and data management processes.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Advanced degrees or certifications with specialization in ML/AI or related domains.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 6- 8 years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience in applying ML techniques to data quality and data management solutions.
  • Experience in at least 2 government or PSU projects involving ML-driven data processing (e.g., anomaly detection, data validation).
  • Proven expertise in developing and deploying ML models for predictive analytics, deduplication, and data validation in scalable environments.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch , scikit-learn, Keras ).
  • Experience in building ML pipelines for data quality applications such as auto-correction and clustering for duplicates.
  • Familiarity with domain-specific tools (e.g., RDKit , BioPython ) when applicable.
  • Expertise in Python or R for model development and data manipulation.
  • Experience with cloud-based ML platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker , Azure ML, Google AI Platform).
  • Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Databricks.
  • Strong understanding of ethical AI, bias mitigation, and data privacy compliance frameworks.

Certifications :

  • Preferred: Certifications in Data Tools, Python, or R for ML (e.g., TensorFlow Developer, AWS ML Specialty, or equivalent).
