Business Development Manager – Digital Marketing Agency

We're now looking for a highly motivated and result-driven Business Development Manager to lead our new client acquisition efforts and help scale our business to new heights.
Role Overview:
As our Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities for our agency. This includes generating leads through platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, LinkedIn, email outreach, and other channels. You will develop and execute strategic plans to meet and exceed sales targets, establish relationships with potential clients, and collaborate with our internal team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and lead the entire business development cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
- Source new business opportunities via bidding portals (e.g., Upwork, Freelancer), LinkedIn outreach, cold emailing, and other prospecting methods.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and pitching appropriate digital marketing services.
- Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and pricing strategies tailored to each prospect.
- Track sales activity, pipeline progress, and key metrics using CRM or similar tools.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing and delivery teams to align client expectations and agency capabilities.
- Continuously analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to optimize strategy.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of proven experience in business development or sales within a digital marketing agency or related industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing services (SEO, SEM, Social Media, Web Development, etc.).
- Demonstrated success in generating leads and converting them into clients through Upwork, LinkedIn, cold outreach, or other relevant channels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter with a achievers mindset and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
