Role & responsibilities

  1. Ensure availability of maintenance personal in every shift. Delegate the maintenance issues to the right person in the maintenance team so that the maintenance issues are resolved in professional and efficient manner.

  2. Ensure all time bound checks (preventive maintenance) are carried out in time. Prepare critical spare list and ensure availability the critical spares.

  3. Ensure training of new joinee is being conducted as per schedule.

  4. Optimize equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality, ensuring the achievement of all Key

Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  1. Ensure routine calibration and maintenance requirements of electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems are undertaken

  2. Ensure that the maintenance of equipment is done in most optimum way to avoid over/under maintenance.

  3. Manage systems and equipment data storage and maintain high levels of

standards and accuracy

  1. Manage the process of disposal of obsolete machinery, plant and equipment.

  2. Attend various meetings and action/communicate instructions

  3. Produce written reports and make presentations

  4. Undertake continuous training and development

  5. Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems

  6. Provide technical expertise to the team

  7. Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility

  8. Manage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements.

Academic Qualification :

Diploma/Bachelors degree (Mechanical/Electrical)

Masters degree (Mechanical/Electrical)

Experience and Requirements:

10+ years of experience

Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent continuous improvement experience.

Strong knowledge of polymer processing machinery(extrusion, compounding, mixing)

Skills:

  1. Proven leadership experience with strong decision-making authority and a results-driven mindset.

  2. Solid knowledge of production planning, quality control, and industrial safety.

  3. Root cause analysis & problem solving

  4. Knowledge of preventive & predictive maintenance

  5. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
