Job Description: Acquisition Specialist (Financial Advisory)
Purpose
Drive client acquisition, financial planning, and relationship management by positioning
Fintoo's fee-based advisory proposition. The Acquisition Specialist will engage in client
acquisition as well as financial plan creation and presentation, ensuring clients view them
as trusted advisors and not just salespeople.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and acquire new clients through references, digital channels, and networking.
• Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs and introduce Fintoo's advisory
solutions.
• Create, review, and present financial plans tailored to client profiles.
• Collaborate with the Core Advisory team for portfolio design and execution.
• Provide recommendations on ESOP diversification, asset allocation, and tax planning.
• Achieve individual and team acquisition targets.
• Proactively generate referrals and new business opportunities.
- Support growth initiatives in new geographies (e.g., Bangalore).
• Stay updated on financial products, mutual funds, equities, and ESOP solutions.
• Confidently pitch Fintoo's advisory model in line with client goals and risk appetite.
Key Requirements
• Excellent communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of financial planning, investment products, and portfolio creation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.
• Strong command of English (spoken & written).
• Presentable, confident, and client-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement:
o Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their
unique financial needs and goals.
o Provide personalized advisory services, including ESOP diversification,
investment recommendations, and tax-efficient planning.
Financial Planning & Strategy:
o Create, review, and optimize financial plans tailored to each client's profile.
o Analyse client portfolios and recommend rebalancing strategies to maximize
returns and minimize risks.
Market Analysis & Product Knowledge:
o Stay updated on market trends, economic factors, and financial products to
provide informed and timely advice.
o Understand and recommend products, including mutual funds, stocks, bonds,
and alternative investments, based on client profiles and risk tolerance.
Sales & Business Development:
o Work towards achieving individual and team business targets
o Identify potential high-net-worth clients and support growth initiatives within
the firm.
Compliance & Documentation:
o Ensure all client interactions, transactions, and recommendations comply with
regulatory standards.
o Maintain detailed and accurate client records, updating portfolios and
capturing key decision points.
