Job Summary:

Experienced Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Support Executive with a minimum of 6 years of experience in the MS Dynamics environment. The candidate will be responsible for providing Level 1 support, managing system administration, troubleshooting system issues, and coordinating with users and support providers to resolve technical problems. This role requires a deep understanding of Finance and Accounting functions within Dynamics systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Level 1 Support & User Assistance:

  2. Provide first-level support to Dynamics users, addressing queries and issues promptly.

  3. Assist users in understanding and using Dynamics functionalities effectively.

  4. Systems Administration & User Management:

  5. Manage user accounts, access rights, and permissions.

  6. Ensure proper configuration and maintenance of system settings.

  7. Create new configurations/companies/consolidations as necessary

  8. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:

  9. Diagnose and resolve system-related issues, including failed transactions and interface failures.

  10. Collaborate with external support providers and Microsoft to resolve complex issues.

  11. Ensure Dynamics systems and interfaces are functioning properly at all times.

  12. Query & Report Management:

  13. Modify or create queries, reports, dashboards, and workflows as required.

  14. Prepare change control documents for system modifications and enhancements.

  15. Implement approved changes after User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on the test platform.

  16. Documentation & Record Keeping:

  17. Maintain detailed logs of system errors and their resolutions.

  18. Maintain a full change history and relevant documentation for all system modifications.

  19. User Training & Support:

  20. Provide training to users where necessary to enhance their efficiency and understanding of the system.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in the MS Dynamics environment, particularly Dynamics Business Central.

  • In-depth knowledge of Finance and Accounting functions.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with users and external support providers.

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in creating and modifying queries, reports, dashboards, and workflows.

  • Thorough knowledge of MS Dynamics configuration process

Preferred Qualifications:

-MS Computer Science / Information Technology / MCA

  • Certification in Microsoft Dynamics

  • Experience in implementing system modifications and enhancements, configuration management in a MS Dynamics environment
