Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary and experienced Director of Marketing to lead the marketing function of our multi-product travel marketplace. The role demands a leader who can balance performance marketing, lead generation, and brand building, while driving consistent messaging across diverse products including holiday packages, flights, visas, fixed departures, hotels, transport, and bundled offerings.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scaling brands globally, managing multi-product portfolios, and executing campaigns that resonate with both B2B partners and B2C travelers across multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
- Define and lead the global marketing strategy for multiple travel products.
- Build the brand as a trusted travel marketplace in India and worldwide.
- Manage marketing budgets, ensuring optimal ROI across channels and geographies.
2. Multi-Product Marketing
- Create tailored positioning and campaigns for each product line (flights, hotels, visas, packages, etc.).
- Design cross-sell and upsell strategies for bundled offerings like flight + hotel and transport add-ons.
- Ensure consistent brand identity across all products while adapting messaging for regional markets.
3. Digital & Performance Marketing
- Own and optimize Meta, Google Ads, programmatic, and affiliate campaigns for global reach.
- Drive SEO/SEM, app marketing, CRM, and automation strategies.
- Implement retargeting, email marketing, and funnel optimization to lower CAC and boost CLV.
- Track and report KPIs (lead generation, conversions, acquisition cost, ROI).
4. Global Brand Building
- Establish the company as a world-class travel brand with high recall.
- Drive PR, influencer marketing, sponsorships, and partnerships in domestic and international markets.
- Tailor brand campaigns to local cultures and languages while maintaining global identity.
5. Content & Creative Marketing
- Oversee creation of blogs, guides, destination content, and visual storytelling.
- Lead multi-lingual content strategies to support international expansion.
- Position the company as a thought leader in travel through blogs, events, and campaigns.
6. Data & Market Insights
- Use analytics to make data-driven marketing decisions.
- Monitor evolving travel trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior.
- Leverage new-age marketing tools (AI-driven targeting, personalization, loyalty programs).
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Experience: 12–18 years in marketing, with senior leadership in digital-first consumer businesses (travel/e-commerce/marketplaces preferred).
- Proven expertise in digital marketing (Meta, Google Ads, SEO, SEM).
- Experience in international marketing and global expansion.
- Strong creative, analytical, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to inspire and build high-performing marketing teams.
